A blood donation camp was held in the Kollamcode area of Soozhal, Kumari district on Sunday, 16-03-2025, jointly organized by Kumari Arakkattalai
and the Izham Thentral Elaingar Movement. About 30 men and women participated in this blood donation camp and donated blood. We are happy to inform you that this blood was collected at the Pathmanathapuram Government Head Hospital, Thakkalay Blood Bank.
On 25 - 01 - 2025, a blood donation camp was held at Anjugramam John's Central School in Kumari district on behalf of John's Foundation and Kumari Arakkattalai. The camp was inaugurated by Sandeep Kumar, a surgeon from Karakonam Medical College. More than 60 parents and teachers, including the school principal, Jebil Wilson, participated and donated blood. The camp was coordinated by Dr. Kolappan, blood bank officer of Thakulay Government Hospital, and Sahaya Selvarajan, coordinator. The arrangements for this were made by the school principal, Sherin Chandra Leela, and the teachers, members of the Junior Red Cross Movement.
On behalf of the Kumari Arakkattalai, we are very happy to announce that as per the official records of the Kumari Arakkattalai, 7000 units of blood have been donated free of cost till date, 31-12-2024.

On 07/01/2024 the participants of the marathon were honored with prizes at the Karungal market ground and two poor college students were given scholarship of ₹20000+20000 each and one person was given wheel chair and 500 poor people were given welfare assistance.
